kingfisher, part two

The weather has been a bit drab the last two days but I did manage to get a few captures.

The light was a little warmer and if briefly and only marginally brighter too! Whether due to the light or other factors (warmer day?) the Kingfishers were most certainly more wary.

Thought the sun did lend its light to capture some swans with a little more interest than normal.

kingfisher

First for me, and very enjoyable experience too. Kingfishers really put you and your equipment to the test, flighty and fast! Anyway here are some of the pics I took, Enjoy.

Early December..

Iv been busy with the camera again, its amazing how an image, music, film or other can inspire us to go out and be creative. For me this time it was some of the amazing images from www.craigjoneswildlifephotography.co.uk/

Otterton church

Misty morning

The Otter is still getting colder!

River Otter, Devon. In winter

Iv revisited the site of the last pic, and attempted to get a similar image on a very different day. It was cold last time but now there is ice on both sides of the river and the slower moving water in between the stones is frozen up in places.

I may keep revisiting this site, maybe a collection of images during the year??
